Our first assignment in Illustration II this semester was to illustrate a single word, and to do it in a way so that it wasn't blatant nor achingly subtle. The word crocodiles kept cycling through my head- not as the word to illustrate, but as the subject matter- and so I chose "awkward" as my word and came up with the idea of a crocodile businessman bring home a wildebeest friend from work only to find his wife preparing exactly that for dinner.

Heh. Awkward.

Heh XD I remember seeing this long ago ... somewhere ... possibly on Yerf? And I loved it then, and I still love it now :3 Your style is very refreshing and different ... I like it!

This is one of my most favorite pieces evar. Since I first saw it (again...Yerf?), it's been lurking in the back of my mind. Occassionally, I find myself thinking of the awkward situation depicted here. I hope Mr. Crocodile got out of the situation all right.
