...I mean, they only have three eyes between the two of them, and Sparky's are all wonky-like. Not that I don't love them.

For our Illustration pet portrait assignment, I did the obvious choice and drew my two Boston Terriers, Sparky and the late Sam, exploring some undefined and unspeakably rugged mountain territory whilst decked out in full Inuit regalia. Props to Reagan Lodge for inspiring this way back when.

I adore this piece. The colors together, the poses, and the crazyeyes just sort of tell a story that elevates it from, "two characters standing together"...
